100 Watt Guitar Amp Being Wired By Ian and Chuck

The picture above shows the Power and Output Transformers

Sitting upside down for positioning and measuring

Of the mount holes and wire routing.

The 525 Volt Power Transformer

At the left has been replaced

BY a higher power 700 Volt Military Transformer!

The picture below shows the four JJ KT88 Blue Glass Power Tubes.

The four Brown Based JAN (Joint Army Navy) Military 6SL7 tubes are gain stages!

Two more 6SL7 tubes have been added

To the original four Pre Amp stages

 For a total of 11 Gain Stages.

The second half of the final 6SN7

With the Black Base

Shown at the far right

Is used as a Phase Inverter

Below is a picture of the tube filament wiring.

This shows the six sockets for the military 6SL7 and 6SN7 pre amp and phase inverter tubes.

Also the four JJ KT88 Output Tubes with Blue Glass 

The five 9 pin miniature tube sockets at the top

Have been eliminated in favor of six of

The more robust and rugged 

6SL7 and 6SN7 Military and Industrial Tubes!

These are octal 8 pin based tubes!
